Sourcing the Right Dog
Our competitors carry 20 to 40 dogs at a time — with that many animals in kennels, there is always commercial pressure to place them. We do not work that way. We carry a strictly limited number of dogs, and we will source specifically for you if none is currently suitable. Dogs are selected on temperament, workability, and proven genetic traits. We do not buy puppies and hope for the best. If we have the right dog available, we discuss it. If not, we find one.

In-Home Training, At The Dog's Pace
Your dog moves into our home for the duration of training. Only Tom and his wife ever handle the dog. The training runs two parallel tracks simultaneously: everyday life skills — walking without pulling, recall, calmness in public, indifference to distractions — and protection capability. Both receive equal attention. The timescale varies by dog, not by commercial pressure.

We verify everything before you arrive
Pre-Handover Assessment
Before handover, we conduct a comprehensive assessment of the dog against the agreed training brief. We verify that every behaviour, every command, and every protection scenario is performing to standard. Only when we are satisfied does handover proceed.
Final stage before deliveryWe train you, not just the dog
3–4 Day In-Person Handover
The handover is 3 to 4 days in person. This is not a collection. We train you alongside your dog. You learn every command, every cue, every signal. You understand how the dog thinks and what it needs from you. Most buyers have never owned a dog like this. We make sure you leave not just excited, but genuinely confident and prepared.

Lifetime Support
Lifetime phone support is included. Any question, any time. If the dog is struggling with something, we want to know. For those who want formal annual reinforcement, Tom offers a yearly training visit — available as a one-off additional fee at purchase. He visits every year, for the life of the dog.

How Long Does It Take?
Dog Available Now
If a suitable dog is already in training or available, handover can happen within approximately 3 months once training is verified.
Bespoke Commission
For a fully bespoke order — breed specified, sourced, and trained from scratch to your requirements — the timeline is dictated by the dog and your brief, not by a commercial deadline.
For the right buyer, this timeline is a feature. A dog trained properly at its own pace is a different product from one trained quickly to fill a slot.
