After Handover

A Relationship for Life

The most common question we hear from buyers: will the dog lose its training? Our aftercare programme is the definitive answer.

01

Handover Training

3–4 Day In-Person Handover

Included in purchase price

Every handover is 3 to 4 full days in person. This is not a collection — it is a training programme. We teach you every command, every signal, every cue your dog has been trained on. We walk you through real scenarios. We answer every question. You leave not just with a dog, but with the knowledge to handle it correctly for the rest of its life.

Most buyers have never owned a dog trained to this standard. The handover is designed specifically for that reality.

02

Ongoing Support

Lifetime Phone Support

Included for the life of the dog

Lifetime phone support is included with every purchase. No time limit. No contract. Any question — whether it arrives in week one or year ten — gets a personal answer. We want to know if something is not working as it should. A dog that has been trained correctly should hold that training, but if questions or challenges arise, we are the first call you make.

This is not a helpdesk. It is a direct line to Tom.

03

Annual Visits

Yearly Training Visits

Available as a one-off addition at purchase

Tom offers an annual training visit for the life of the dog. He comes to you, works with your dog in your home, your environment, your specific situation, and reinforces every element of the training. This is the most powerful answer to the question of whether training holds. It does not just hold — it compounds.

This is a one-off additional fee paid at the time of purchase. Once purchased, Tom visits every year. Simple.

The Question Every Buyer Asks

Will the Dog Lose Its Training?

This is the most common concern. And it is a legitimate one. Dogs trained to this level need handling, maintenance, and consistency to remain at peak capability. Left entirely without reinforcement over years, any training degrades.

Our aftercare programme is designed specifically to prevent this. The 3–4 day handover gives you the knowledge to maintain training daily. Lifetime phone support means any issue is addressed before it becomes a problem. Annual visits provide formal reinforcement from the original trainer, in your environment, with your dog.

The short answer: if you follow our guidance, your dog will hold its training. If you want absolute certainty, the annual visit programme is your guarantee.

“I plan to offer a yearly visit for the dog's life to ensure training is kept up. For a one-off additional fee when they purchase the dog.”

The Second Question Every Buyer Asks

Will the Dog Settle Into My Home?

Every dog we train lives in our home for the duration of training. Not in a kennel. In our house, alongside our family, experiencing normal daily life. Traffic. People. Children. Other animals. Busy environments. This is deliberate. By the time a dog leaves us, it has already spent an extended period living as a family dog.

The 3–4 day handover then transitions the dog to your home, your routines, your commands, your environment. We do not hand over a dog and disappear. We stay present for those days, manage the transition, and ensure the dog settles correctly. Combined with lifetime support, any settling challenges are handled before they become problems.
